The GSCA nationals were held in Bowling Green Kentucky

Still many very fast cars there. We had Jerry and his GN (thanks for letting me borrow your stuff as always), turbo Phil and Joe in Phil's car, me and my HOT AIR and Darrel and Lisa

Also bought a few parts, and met a lot of nice people. Entered in the car show but did not win. Did the show car challenge - closest show car to ET in one pass wins cash. I finished 7/1000 within my time and lost to someone within 2/1000 of a second.

Phil was in bracket 2, Jerry was in 3, and I was in 5. Somehow I made it to the finals against a nice GN (the only 2 turbo cars in the bracket finals) owned by Greg from Michagan. After a clean start we hit the finish line neck and neck and neither of us knew who won. Well Greg won by 15/1000 of a second. Still won a nice plaque and $100. Now that I'm a pro, Larry may want to consider letting me be his driver 8-) when the stage motor goes in

Found out after I finshed in 4th place in the car show only 1 point (out of 100) out of 3rd place in class V non-intercooled 78-85 turbo Regal.
