Emily, Maria, Marlene, and Ed Chapman went to Walt Disney World and Universal Studios over Christmas 2001 in Orlando Florida. We had 7 full days. This was during the 100 years of Disney Celebration. Marlene and Emily took a 30 hour bus ride while Ed and Maria took a plane ride. The weather was good the entire trip except for one day of rain and a bit nippy in the mornings and evenings.

image image We stayed at the Allstar Movies motel. The Allstar's are the cheapest on Disney property you can stay at. This allows you to take advantage of the surprise morning and get in the park 1.5 hours before scheduled opening time. However this along with other services have been cut back due to the drop in tourism. The pools were warm and the food court was pretty good. If you stay at Disney and are a soda or coffee drinker you may want a refillable mug. It pays for itself if going to refill 6 times at the motel only. Click Here for Photos From AllStar Movies image
